Had a tiny bit of rainbow yarn left – going to make another hat, and will use more Bare yarn if I run out of Rainbow. This one I plan to make a little bit shorter than my previous swirl hat since I may have knit that one a bit long.
Not sure if I knit it too long or not – I measured 5 inches (per pattern instructions) but did not stretch the natural ribbing of the hat to get that measurement – I measured the hat flat, but relaxed.
We’ll see if it’s too big when the baby arrives….

It’s definitely long in the arms for Alexandria, but she’ll grow into it.
In the future I would put some decreases in the arms to take out some of the baggy/bulky sleeves
