Since I’m using this project as a swatch for a larger Flax: it’s 16.5 stitches and 22 rows in 4 inches before washing

If it stays this way after washing, I’ll try a different needle size for my toddler’s Flax

After washing and drying (tumble dry low), I ended up with 17 stitches/23 rows in 4” on US8 needles

I tried a hand wash/lay flat and the sweater stretched width-wise only to 16 sts/4”. Definitely tumble dry this superwash Wool of the Andes yarn.
